For many of you a pipe is not just a smoking instrument, but a gateway to the past. Maybe your father or a favorite uncle was a pipe smoker and you can still smell his tobacco when you think back with fond memories.




I also have a great passion for pipes; The craftsmanship, the tobacco and the memories. A great pipe will not only allow you to relive those memories again for years to come, but create new ones. Modern pipe design has also given way to incredible new designs, that still provide fantastic enjoyment. A great pipe feels good in the hand, has an open draw and allows the flavor of your favorite blend to take over your smoking experience. These are just a few of the ideals that drive my work.


Nature provides the pipe maker beautiful briar to work with. It is my pleasure to take this material and create wonderful smoking, feeling and looking pipes. My greatest hope is that you find your next “old friend” within my collection.

First and foremost, every pipe I make must be crafted to smoke well, period. Briar acquired from master cutters in Italy and high quality ebonite and cumberland rod stock are the basics. Proven materials that last and provide quality from the beginning. The engineering must be on target - wide open drafts, chamber shapes and sizes fit to the shape of the pipe and comfortable mouthpieces and just a few of the details covered when designing and creating the pipes.

On occasion, a nice exotic wood ring stem decoration or a silver cap on a military mount accent the pieces. Grain is accented with color and wax leaving a beauty to behold. Sometimes hand carved rustication is in order, to give a rugged yet friendly feel and look to the pipes. Blasted pipes exhibit the natural beauty of the ring grain in relief - a look and feel

preferred by many pipe enthusiasts.
